Aereoballet offers different workouts.

Aereoballet is a discipline and we offer different workouts. Depending on the age and each individual’s needs we deliver best formulas to re-structure your body type. All workouts share dance roots: you can combine the different techniques or just select one speciality. Tailored programs are available on request. Feel free to enquire us!

AEREOBALLET

Goal: Burning Fat, tone and lift. You can enjoy a low-impact, joint-friendly muscle-sculpting workout using choreography. It is designed for everyone to improve memory and coordination, through burning fat. You will work on all of the major muscle groups of the body through both standing and floor exercises to develop a flat tummy and a firm, shapely body. You will target the thighs, abs, upper body, glutes, triceps and back through a blend of exercises inspired by different dances. The endurance-resistence part is designed to tone and lift the body.

DANCE BARRE EXPRESS

Dance Barre Express is a dynamic ballet based class that focuses on strength, flexibility, stamina and core stability. It is a 30 MIN condensed version Barre workout for those who are very busy. Heart-pumping music that makes you need to move, this class uses choreographed movement patterns with the support of a ballet barre to take you through a flow of high-powered sequences that will keep you feeling energized and motivated throughout.

If you are new to Bold Bodies or dance we suggest to do a couple of Aereoballet classes to get the correct posture which is utilised throughout a Barre Express class to achieve results.

LE DISCOTEQUE

Dance all the best free style dance condensed into a party format, maracas are welcome! A class packed with fun and movement from Disco, Funk, Soul and Latin danced to music that makes you need to move. If you love party, zumba, latino, you will love this routine as well! Dance shoes or heals…

DANCE FLEX AND STRETCH

Classical ballet training is recognized as one of the most advanced technical movement mechanics training. The biomechanical ideal in training is to achieve the most stable, balanced, integrate relationship of the spine and extremities for injury prevention, advanced sports medicine treatment and performance optimization. This routine specifically consists of flexibility and alignment training. The class is 30 min and takes your through dynamic, isometric and developmental stretching. Dynamics stretching aims to propel the muscle into an extended range of motion. Isometric stretching is a type of static stretching (meaning it does not use motion) which involves the resistance of muscle groups through isometric contractions (tensing) of the stretched muscles. The use of isometric stretching is one of the fastest ways to develop increased static-passive flexibility and is much more effective than either passive stretching or active stretching alone. Developmental stretching is practised at the end of the class to lengthen the muscles. Occasionally we will work in pairs and use therabands. This class is for you if you have tight muscles and reduced mobility.

TOTAL BARRE™

Diana is a Stott Pilates Total Barre teacher. Total Barre TM is designed to emphasise the correct biomechanics of movement combined with the power of music to increase strength, flexibility and stamina. No dance experience required and it is fantastic workout to shape and tone the body.

CONTEMPORARY MOTION

This contemporary dance class is created using the principles of release technique which place emphasis on using the breath to stimulate movement from the body’s centre point in conjunction with momentum and imagery. You will practise the control required to move with ease in and out of the floor and to shift through varied planes with clarity and dynamism. Fall, rebound and suspension, the fundamentals of Limon technique, are also be explored as well as the contraction and release of Graham. Aspects of Horton technique such as primitive squats, flat backs and lateral stretches are also practised in the classes to lengthen the spine. The use of momentum and gravity explored in this class requires a sense of fearlessness which you are supported to explore to enable you to surrender to the sensation. The class consists of technique exercises, choreographed phrases and travelling at an open level. The continuous pace of the class optimises the training of your beautiful bold body. Participation in this class will enable you to explore new boundaries and versatility and to also minimise tension all in the search for clarity and fluidity. As a result your core strength, flexibility and stamina will improve.
